The Sum — The Meaning of This Week by Gloria Feldt…is Change

Word of the week is change.

As in 50 Women Can Change the World

Welcome to The Sum, where I share my take on the meaning of sum of the week’s parts. I want your voice too. Leave comments here or @GloriaFeldt

I’m in Arizona this week for the launch of Take The Lead’s now signature leadership development program, 50 Women Can Change the World 2017. This one is for nonprofit emerging women leaders. In the spirit of “a picture is worth a thousand words,” I thought I would take you along with me through our first day.

Excitement builds as we prepare materials for the first day of the program that is five days over a two month period.

Here is Leadership Ambassador and lead trainer Felicia Davis — a woman who knows how to show up in her power and help other women do the same.

We diagram our power journey.

Here’s what participants had to say about their relationship with power.

At work defining their own terms: Power Tool #2

Felicia and I are committed to teaching the women what they need to know to embrace their power with intention, confidence, authenticity, and joy. And we both love red.

Love these Power Tools. They’ll get you where you want to go.

Our ever-popular power continuum.

As our first day wound down, participants named their top takeaways from the day.

And they identified their excuses that they will lovingly release.

We ended the day with the Together Live tour featuring Abby Wambach, Glennon Doyle, Luvvie Ajayi, and others. They covered almost every Power Tool!
