Free Virtual Event Marks a Decade of Impact: Women, Power and Leadership: A Conversation with Gloria Feldt and Gloria Steinem Facilitated by Jamia Wilson
NEW YORK (February 14, 2024) — Take The Lead® , a nationally recognized non-profit dedicated to achieving gender parity in leadership by 2025, launches its 10th anniversary year with a free virtual event on Monday, February 19 at 2:00pm ET that will convene leading voices in the women’s movement in a candid discussion: Women, Power, and Leadership: A Conversation with Gloria Feldt and Gloria Steinem, Facilitated by Jamia Wilson.
The anniversary event, to be broadcast via Zoom, will bring together Gloria Feldt, international expert on women’s leadership, bestselling author, a former CEO and president Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and co-founder of Take The Lead, with Gloria Steinem, trailblazing feminist organizer, political activist, writer, and lecturer, facilitated by Jamia Wilson, award-winning feminist activist, writer, speaker, and podcaster.
Take The Lead’s 10th anniversary comes at a time of urgency, with threats to progress thought to be secure in the advancement of women’s leadership and challenges to intersectional gender parity. Registration for Women, Power, and Leadership is free of charge to maximize accessibility thanks to support from generous sponsors. Registrants will receive the recording, as well, for future replay.
